International Advanced seminar: Brazilian VBP Network – Alcohol Regulation Policy in Brazil

International Advanced seminar: Brazilian VBP Network – Alcohol Regulation Policy in Brazil

12th March, 2020, 10am – 4pm

Venue: Brooks Building, Manchester Metropolitan University
Manchester M15 6GX.

Poor alcohol regulation and lack of policy in Brazil normalises alcohol consumption and creates tolerance of alcohol-related crime, domestic violence and a high rate of road traffic accidents. The global response is the adoption of universal measures to discourage heavy drinking. This seminar provides an opportunity for knowledge exchange on alcohol policy development and delivery between Brazil and UK, and to establish partnership working to promote healthier use of alcohol in Brazil.
