St Hilda’s College, Oxford – July 25th 2015

Oxford Textbook of Psychiatric Ethics

The Oxford Handbook of Psychiatric Ethics was launched at a lunchtime seminar in St Hilda’s College, Oxford, hosted by Oxford University Press and TORCH (The Oxford Centre for Research in the Humanities). The seminar was chaired by Edward Harcourt, Chair of the Philosophy Faculty, and formed part of the Oxford MVMH (Mind, Value and Mental Health) biennial Sumer School and Conference.

The Lead Editor, North American psychiatrist and philosopher John Sadler, responded to perspectives on the book from the service user researcher David Crepaz-Keay and the South African psychiatrist and philosopher Werdie van Staden.
