“Sleep and the Brain”

An interdisciplinary workshop in the JdP Music Building, St Hilda’s
College, from 5 to 7.15 p.m on Thursday, 2 February, 2017

The workshop will look at sleep, its relationships to brain functions , and its importance to our psychological well-being, from the perspectives of Neuroscience, Psychology
and Philosophy. There will be talks by Prof. Stuart Peirson and Prof. Vladyslav Vyazovskiy of the Oxford University Sleep Lab;  Dr. Frances Knight of the Institute of Education, University College London; and Prof. Jim Hopkins of University College London.
