Richard Gray is immediate past CAIPE Chair. He has been a member of the CAIPE board since 2009 and of the CAIPE executive group since 2012. He was previously President of the General Practice with Primary Health Care Section of the Royal Society of Medicine and has a background as a medical general practitioner in Brighton situated on the South coast of the UK . He is an Honorary Faculty Fellow, University of Brighton. He previously was an Associate Dean for Postgraduate General Practice Medical Education, and Principal Lecturer in Primary Care and interprofessional disciplinary lead at the Brighton and Sussex Medical School. He was involved in the design and implementation of the undergraduate first and second year clinical practice modules which included IPE involving nursing, midwifery, pharmacy, social work and medical students. Richard has a particular interest in the preparation and support of teachers involved with IPE. He was Chair of the Steering Group for the Oxford 2016 ATBH VIII conference.
