Institute of Philosophy at the Maria Curie-Sklodowska University in Lublin, November 29-30th 2016
The central themes of the conference are concepts of experience, understanding, emotions and all the perspectives close to experience. Philosophical and anthropological implications and their consequences for the comprehension of our well-being and mental health (in psychiatry, psychology, education, psychotherapy, health sciences, health coaching, etc.) are going to be searched for. We are concerned with various dimensions of experience and emotions, the ways of experiencing the self, the world and other people, and the corresponding narratives. Liminal experiences and vulnerability, sensitivity, existential feelings and moods are the major issues of our considerations. The subject matter is going to be presented in the form of lectures, panel discussion, workshops and artistic projects.
