Welcome to Surgeon’s Notes – This a new Blog page on the Collaborating Centre for Values-based Practice in Health and Social Care written by Ashok Handa.

Welcome to Surgeon's NotesAshok Handa is a vascular surgeon in the Nuffield Department of Surgery at the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford. He is a Fellow by Special Election in Medicine at St Catherine’s College where he is also Tutor for Graduates. He is the Clinical Tutor in Surgery for the University and Associate Director of Clinical Studies for Oxford Medical School. Besides values-based practice he has a range of collaborative research interests including patient safety and outcomes.
