Leader of Research for the Ph D programme of the Oxford Centre for Religion and Public Life in partnership with Stellenbosch University and the University of Pretoria South Africa – studies in religion, theology and public life. Regular contributor to the Church of England Newspaper and Evangelicals Now (monthly column). Co-Editor of Mission as Transformation (Regnum, Oxford 1999) and author of Seeking the Asian Face of Jesus ( Regnum Oxford 1997) and Good News for the Poor (co-authored with Vinay Samuel), (Grove Books Nottingham 2021).
