Brief Description of Work: A writer and editor with over 20 years experience documenting histories and stories of people and places. Eclectic academic background: BA (History); Honours (Contemporary Studies) and MA (Writing, Editing and Publishing). Current MPhil student in creative writing at University of Queensland exploring subjective medical experiences through life writing (memoir and biography). In addition, past experience as a sessional academic in both writing (essay technique, critical reading and writing) and mental health (Masters of Mental Health Practice), and current Adjunct Research Fellow at Griffith University, School of Human Services and Social Work.
