Brief Description of Work: Ben Kotzee is Lecturer in Education at the University of Birmingham. He works on professional ethics and professional education, particularly from the perspective of virtue ethics. He has worked on an empirical study of virtues and values in medicine with the Jubilee Centre for Character and Virtues at the University of Birmingham and is currently involved with an AHRC-funded project on wisdom in medicine. He holds a PhD in Philosophy from King’s College London and was previously lecturer at Birkbeck, University of London.
