Brief Description of Work:

I am an occupational therapist with clinical and managerial experience working in the UK and Brazil. I teach on pre- and post-registration occupational therapy, allied health and nursing programmes, with a keen interest in evidence-based practice (EBP) and how ‘real’ EBP occurs at the convergence of research, clinician experience and skills, and client values and perspectives. My research focuses on older people, ageing in place, housing, assistive technology and health informatics, in particular the human and values-driven elements of innovation in health and social care.
