Brief Description of Work: I am a surgical registrar in General Surgery with a special interest in Breast Surgery. I studied at the University of Oxford and, through the Nuffield Department of Surgery, became interested in the role of Values-Based Practice in Surgery, setting up the VBP in Surgery Seminar series. I have been awarded a Winston Churchill Memorial Trust Fellowship (2015) to travel to America to look at the care and comfort that food and companionship bring to the terminally ill and, on my return, aim to set up a UK-based charity to provide meals to the terminally ill in their homes.
