Brief Description of Work: VBP is a foundation directive of the department with on-going integration of VBP in every aspect of our programmes in child care and education, elderly care services and social work. Introduced originally by Reuben Woo, CECS developed a model of Values-Based Education based on knowledge generation through co-production by teachers, students and other stakeholders. CECS also engages different private and non-governmental organizations to collaborate on the promotion and research into Values-Based Practice and values education. For example, there will be a collaboration with a private forest school in Hong Kong to conduct research on ‘youth aspiration’.
