Brief Description of Work:
Philosophy at Kent is the home of a vibrant research community, with particular strengths in the areas of: Normativity, understood as encompassing investigations into norms and values across ethics, political philosophy, aesthetics, epistemology, language, logic and philosophy of mind and action and Theoretical reasoning, understood as encompassing formal epistemology as well as inference methods and their application to contemporary mathematics, science and medicine.
In partnership with the Collaborating Centre for Values-Based Practice, we are currently developing an Impact Programme on Norms of Belief and Norms of Action in Research and Clinical Practice, led by Lubomira Radoilska.
