Brief Description of Work: Promoting inclusion and equality to improve lifestyles and wellbeing of disabled people, their carers and families. MASIS believes that addressing the ‘social’ model of health is as important as the treatment patients receive from skilled medical practitioners. Although MASIS is a UK based organisation contact from appropriate service providers, healthcare and academic establishments both nationally and internationally are welcomed. MASIS is also keen to help reduce pressures encountered by acute care service providers by developing more rapid discharge times following treatment. This includes establishing commercial collaborations with UK and international companies. Any surplus is re-invested specific health and wellbeing projects.
