I teach both under graduate and post graduate students, and lead a module for 1^st year nursing students, ‘Exploring the patient client experience’ (includes engaging with a patient or client experiencing a health condition and sharing their unique ‘story’). I am a personal supervisor for a group of BSc students and oversee a core element of the nursing programme which requires them to develop a depth of understanding and application of the knowledge required of a contemporary nurse.  I have a special interest in child and adolescent development and mental health, including chronic illness and transition.
