Interests: Person-centred and relational approaches in health and social care. Navigating the tensions between systems and the personal/relational. Living out values (embodied, incarnational) in professional contexts. Power differentials in clinical practice and with service users, and how these are navigated in attempts at coproduction. Developing self-awareness, relational awareness and reflective practice for clinical and social care professionals. How principles of person-centredness and relationality connect to traditional religious cultures and practices and modern value-based approaches such as restorative practice / justice, non-violent communication, concepts of moral injury and others.
