I am a psychiatrist, professor of psychopathology at Université Paris 8 Vincennes-Saint-Denis (France). Within my activities in clinical, research and teaching fields, I am particularly concerned with person-centered approaches that emphasize the ressources of individuals, their own subjective worlds, and their empowerment. I’m equally very interested in the dynamics of multidisciplinary teams: within my practice with persons with disabilities, I have the opportunity to verify daily the interest of values-based practice. With some French colleagues, we have undertaken a translation of Essential Values-Based Practice: Clinical stories linking science with people (Fulford, Peile & Carroll, 2012).Arnaud Plagnol is Lead for Values-based Practice in France
