Dr Anna Ludvigsen
Core Trainee in Psychiatry Derby, UK and member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists' Scoping Group on Person-Centred Training in Psychiatry

I am a psychiatry core trainee. I completed a degree course in western herbal medicine before going to medical school. My main areas of interest are: understanding what interventions help people with mental health problems and changing the attitudes and behaviours of healthcare professionals towards more person-centred approaches. I have organized and facilitated psychiatry teaching for all F2 doctors in the East Midlands and conducted research into how this mandatory training influenced their attitudes towards people with mental illness. I am on a Royal College of Psychiatrists’ scoping group working on introducing person-centred approaches in core psychiatric training.
