Cecilia Maria Esposito is a psychiatrist and phenomenogically-oriented psychotherapist. She graduated both in Medicine and in Philosophy and is the author of about 50 scientific publications, pertaining both to psychiatry and clinical phenomenology. Currently, she is working as a researcher at the University of Pavia and collaborates with the University of Florence. She has dealt with the phenomenology of corporeity in its psychopathological declinations (schizophrenia, eating disorders) and is currently working on the phenomenological renewal of the concept of hysteria including identifying relevant values. Her purpose is to help develop a more person-centered and values-centered psychotherapeutic perspective.
