I am a National Teaching Fellow and also a GP partner and practice based trainer. My time is shared between patients and teaching, but also writing, developing new projects and thinking about how those working in health can be ‘freed up’ with the resilience and resources to influence the service and deliver the care we want to deliver. I am the RCGP International Development Advisor for South Asia, Editorial board member for Education for Primary Care, and International Teaching the Teachers tutor for the RCGP with teaching experience in Pakistan, India, Kuwait and Dubai. My doctoral work uses conversation analysis to think about the features of medical consulting in different settings.
