I work with community partners in researching recovery in substance use in a wide range of populations and contexts. We are engaged in co-productive and community action research which highlights social justice as well as service user needs and ground-up research methodologies. This area of recovery has strong activist community groups which help to take a lead on values-based evidence for service delivery.
