I am an occupational therapistwith clinical and managerial experience working in the UK and Brazil. I teach onpre- and post-registration occupational therapy, allied health and nursingprogrammes, with a keen interest in evidence-based practice (EBP) and how‘real’ EBP occurs at the convergence of research, clinician experience andskills, and client values and perspectives. My research focuses on olderpeople, ageing in place, housing, assistive technology and health informatics,in particular the human and values-driven elements of innovation inhealth and social care.
