Consultant medical oncologist, completing Cancer Research UK funded DPhil in cancer imaging and cell-free DNA. Key motivators are addressing under-met needs in cancer research and accelerating clinical translation. Previous research in New Zealand with Maori patients with lung cancer and their whanau (family) highlighting the need for an individualised approach when molecular testing and biobanking. Commitment to personalised learning in medical education, recently delivered multi-disciplinary simulation for medical students in Oxford. Reflective teacher, delivering learner-centred programmes, using an array of different teaching strategies. I am on the Advisory board for ACTASIA, a charity offering Humane Education in China.
