Lubomira Radoilska: Professor of Philosophy, University of Kent and Editor-in-Chief, Ethical Theory and Moral Practice

Brief Description of Work: My research programme centres on the contours and structures of agency as revealed under various kinds of threats, including systematic distortions of one’s self-understanding. In partnership with the Collaborating Centre for Values-Based Practice, I am currently leading a Research Co-Production and Impact Programme on Identifying and Overcoming Epistemic Injustice in Health and Social Care. The Programme seeks to expand on the research findings of a 4-year project on Epistemic Injustice, Reasons and Agency (2018-2022) in order to help develop effective and sustainable strategies for identifying and overcoming epistemic injustice in tandem with values-based practice. I am also Lead for the VBP Network on Norms of Action and Belief in the Clinic
