Mai is a postgraduate student reading for the MSt in Practical Ethics at the University of Oxford. Her prior academic background is in philosophy and psychology. Mai’s primary interest areas include bioethics and the ethics of AI. In particular, she is interested in the ethical implications of implementing AI systems in social-care—especially in end-of-life contexts—and its impact on the well-being of both patients and caregivers.
