As a Vascular Surgeon I strive to use VB principles to empower patients to make informed decisions both in choosing surgical options but also importantly at the end of life.

I co-lead a working group on sexual misconduct. My research examined how medical tribunal panels are guided to determine sanctions for doctors guilty of sexual misconduct. This demonstrates the framework results in sanctions that likely do not align with the values of professionals and the public. Assessing these values and the influence of unconscious bias, societal myths on how determinations on guilt and sanctions are made are of interest to me.
