am currently a cognitive behavioural therapist working with people experiencing a wide range of mental health issues. I also teach nurses and social workers at undergraduate and postgraduate level, exploring their practice and the underlying values inherent in contemporary mental health care. I have a particular interest in the use of mindfulness and cognitive therapy in mental health and how the personal values of service users impact on engagement and treatment in these modalities of care
