Currently, I have an academic teaching and research role at the Medical Faculty, University of Heidelberg, Germany where my primary focus is inter-professional collaboration and education. I am a New Zealand Registered Nurse with a Master of Nursing (Honours) from the University of Sydney, Australia and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Bachelor of Arts (Philosophy and Literature) from the University of Canterbury, New Zealand. My doctoral research is examining complex ethical decision-making processes in novice health care professionals. Other research interests include professionalism in health care, regulatory frameworks, values-based practice and inter-professional collaboration.
