Sue Gibson
Faculty Director of Inter-professional Education Canterbury Christ Church University (CCCU) (with responsibility for: health and social care undergraduate pre-registration and post-graduate programmes GP training and Associate Physician training).

My interest is in promoting learning around collaborative inter-professional working with an emphasis on the patient/ service user/client being at the heart of everything and endorsing a values-based person-centered approach. Through facilitated learning and teaching approaches our aim is that students are supported to use their skills for analysis of their own practice and link this to embedding values-based practice into their own professional behaviors. I am also establishing links with colleagues from the Faculty of Education to establish an interdisciplinary  community of learning, teaching and research, with values and the ‘child ‘at the centre of our approach.
